Returns & Refunds

Vikzar products are professional performance instruments deployed under institutional agreements. This policy covers hardware returns and refunds for direct purchases made with Vikzar Technologies Private Limited.
[return eligibility]
- Hardware returns are accepted within 14 days of confirmed delivery, subject to the conditions below.
- The product must be returned in its original packaging, with all accessories, documentation, and proof of purchase.
- Returns are not accepted for products that show signs of physical damage caused after delivery, unauthorised modification, or misuse inconsistent with provided operating guidelines.
- Software licences and access credentials are non-returnable once activated.
[defective or damaged units]
- If your unit arrives damaged or develops a verified manufacturing defect within the warranty period, we will arrange a replacement or full refund at our discretion.
- Report defective units within 7 days of delivery to connect@vikzar.in with photographic evidence and your order reference.
- We will assess the reported defect and respond within 5 business days.
[return process]
- Contact connect@vikzar.in with your order reference and reason for return before sending any unit back. Unauthorised returns will not be processed.
- Once your return is approved, we will provide a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number and shipping instructions.
- Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility except in cases of manufacturing defect or incorrect delivery.
[refunds]
- Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days of receiving the returned unit.
- We reserve the right to apply a restocking fee of up to 15% for returns that are not due to defect or our error.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable except where the return is due to our error.
[pilot & institutional agreements]
- Hardware deployed under pilot or institutional agreements is subject to the terms of the separate commercial agreement signed with the institution.
- The terms of that agreement take precedence over this general policy in the event of any conflict.
[limited warranty]
- Vikzar Smart Pod hardware carries a limited 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of delivery.
- The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, unauthorised modification, exposure to conditions outside specified operating parameters, or normal wear and tear.
- This warranty is non-transferable and applies to the original purchaser only.
